From Cobblestones to Code: Talking AI Dining in Vilnius Old Town

By Damla Zeynep SahinMarch 20264 min read

Last week, I took my camera to the heart of Vilnius Old Town. Standing among the historic architecture and winding streets, I wanted to see if the people of Vilnius were ready to embrace the future of fast food ordering: OrdeON.

Filming this Instagram reel was an eye-opening experience. There is something uniquely honest about a street interview; you get to see the immediate, unfiltered reaction when people realize they might never have to stand in a lunch line again. What I found was a fascinating mix of tech-savviness, great ideas, and genuine excitement.

The "Already Using It" Crowd: The Real Pros

The highlight of my day was running into people who were already OrdeON users! For them, the app wasn't a "new concept", it was their go-to solution for a busy lunch hour.

They shared how much they love the "order ahead" feature. Instead of spending 15 minutes of their break standing at a counter, they scan their QR code, take a seat, and wait for their food to come to them. For these users, OrdeON has turned a stressful rush into a seamless, relaxing experience.

The "More Choices" Conversation: OrdeON’s Beta Journey

While walking through the Old Town, I didn't just hear praise, I also got some very honest feedback. One of the most common questions I heard was: "When will more of my favorite fast food restaurants be on the app?"

It’s a great question, and one I was happy to answer.

I explained to our interviewees that OrdeON is currently in its exciting beta phase. As a new app, we are intentionally starting to focus so we can ensure every order is perfect and every QR code scan is seamless. While our resources are focused on a select group of amazing partners right now, this is just the beginning.

Why "Beta" is Good for You

Being in beta means we are listening. Every suggestion I heard on the streets of Vilnius is being funneled directly back to our development team. I told the people I met: "As we grow, your choices will grow."

The goal is to eventually have every corner of Vilnius, from the hidden gems in the Old Town to the busiest spots in the city center, just a tap away on your screen. The people I spoke to loved the idea of being "early adopters." There’s a certain pride in being the first to use a technology that is going to change how the whole city eats!

Why Vilnius is the Perfect Home for OrdeON

Vilnius is a city that respects its history but lives in the future. By merging AI technology with our local fast food scene, we're making the city even more vibrant and efficient.

As one person in my reel put it: "I just want to eat, not wait." And honestly? I couldn't agree more.
