What You'll Need
Before you start, make sure you have:
- ✓An OrdeON restaurant account (Pro plan or higher)
- ✓A Paysera business or personal account — register free at paysera.lt
- ✓A Paysera Checkout project (we'll create one together below)
- ✓About 10 minutes of your time
Part 1: Set Up Your Paysera Project
First, you need a Paysera Checkout project. This is where Paysera knows which website is collecting payments and where to send your customers after they pay.
Create a Paysera Account
Go to bank.paysera.com/registration and create a free account. If you already have a Paysera account, log in at bank.paysera.com/login.
Complete the identity verification process — Paysera will ask for your ID and some basic information. This is required by EU anti-money-laundering regulations.
Enable Payment Collection (Checkout)
Once logged in, go to Settings → Account Settings → Account Management in the left sidebar. Find and enable the “Payment collection” (Imoku surinkimas) service. This is free to activate.
Create a New Project
Navigate to Projects in your Paysera dashboard. Click “Add new project” and fill in:
| Field | What to Enter |
|---|---|
| Project name | Your restaurant name (e.g., “POMO”) |
| Project URL | https://ordeon.io |
After creating the project, Paysera will assign you a Project ID (a number like 255443) and a Sign Password (a long random string). You'll need both for the OrdeON setup.
Fill in Service Description
In your project settings, go to the “Paslaugos aprašymas” (Service Description) tab. Paysera requires a detailed description of your services before they approve your project. Fill in the following fields:
| Field | What to Enter |
|---|---|
| Project / Service Name | A short name for your service, e.g. “POMO – online food ordering and payments” |
| Detailed Description | Describe what your restaurant does, what online services are offered (online food ordering with payments), and what customers pay for. Must be written in Lithuanian. |
| Return / Refund Policy | Explain your refund and cancellation policy. For example: orders can be cancelled before preparation begins, and that no physical goods are shipped. |
| Contact Phone | Your restaurant's phone number in international format (e.g. +370 6XX XXXXX) |
| Contact Email | Your restaurant's email address for customer inquiries |
Example (POMO restaurant):
POMO – online food ordering and paymentsRestaurant “POMO” provides catering services in Elektrenai. Through the website ordeon.io, customers can order food online and pay securely. Payment is collected at the time the order is placed.Orders can be cancelled before preparation begins, subject to the restaurant's cancellation policy. No physical goods are delivered – this is a digital service.Add Project Addresses
In your project settings, go to the “Project addresses” (Projekto adresai) section and add:
| URL | Purpose |
|---|---|
https://ordeon.io | Main website — used as accept & cancel URLs |
Request Card Payments (Optional)
By default, Paysera enables bank transfers. To also accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, you need to request this separately:
- Go to Paysera contact form
- Request activation of card payments for your project
- Include your project number and a link to your test payment page (you'll get this from OrdeON in Part 2)
- Paysera will review your request and activate card payments (usually within 1–3 business days)
Part 2: Connect Paysera in OrdeON
